Tables Still Available in Grand Prix Tent
at Vermont Summer Festival
East Dorset, VT—July 10, 2003—Tables
in the Grand Prix Tent at the Vermont Summer Festival, July
9-August 10, which boasts five weeks of equestrian competition
at the Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT, are still available
for purchase. Tables, which seat eight people, are $250 per
week.
The Grand Prix tent offers a superior view
of the Grand Prix ring, which hosts each weeks featured
event, the $35,000 Grand Prix, on Sunday afternoons. In addition
to the Grand Prix, the ring also highlights junior and amateur
riders each Sunday as they compete in Show Jumping Hall of
Fame Jumper Classic Series Events. These classes offer a purse
of $10,000 each and an opportunity to earn series points toward
qualifying for the year-end championship at the National Horse
Show.
Throughout each week, the Grand Prix ring
hosts a Mini-Prix as well as North American League and Marshall
and Sterling Jumper Classics for junior and adult riders.
Along with watching top-notch equestrian competition,
guests of the Grand Prix tent will have the opportunity to
enjoy the catering services of Davids World Famous as
well as a cash bar offering beer, wine, and soft drinks. Guests
can also bring their own picnic to enjoy days in the county
surrounded by the Vermont mountains.
The Grand Prix Tent also offers a vending
area with gifts, jewelry, and equestrian apparel for horse
and rider. Vendors in the Grand Prix tent include Flying Cow
Signs, Royal Reflections, and Hudson Meadows. Also present
on the show grounds are Sporting Images, Monas Monogramming,
Wild Horses, Ltd., B& B Saddlery, and Mixed Bag.
The Vermont Summer Festival is New Englands
largest AA rated hunter/jumper horse show circuit.
This years event includes five USET-recognized $35,000
Grand Prix and five $10,000 Mini Prix to be held on the last
day of each show. Each of the five weeks also features a $10,000
Show Jumping Hall Of Fame High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper
class, part of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic
Series which determines which junior and amateur/owner riders
will qualify to ride at the 2003 National Horse Show.
