Equinox Resort and Spa Continues Support
of the Vermont Summer Festival as a Grand Prix Sponsor
East Dorset, VT—July 26, 2004
- The Equinox Resort and Spa, one of the premier properties
in the RockResort portfolio, will be this week's Grand Prix
Sponsor at the Valley Classic Horse Show at the Vermont Summer
Festival. This marks the third consecutive year that the Equinox
has supported the five week series underway at the Harold
Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT. The Vermont Summer Festival
runs through August 15, 2004.
"The Vermont Summer Festival exhibitors have been enjoying
the fine staff and services of the Equinox Hotel for years,
and are now experiencing the beautiful Gleneagles Golf Course
and the new Avanyu Spa during their free time," stated
Dotty Ammerman, Vermont Summer Festival Executive Director.
"While our competitors love the rural nature of the Manchester
area, they also look for luxury and first-rate amenities."

The Vermont Summer Festival is New England's largest "AA"
rated hunter/jumper horse show circuit. This year's event
includes five USET-recognized $35,000 Grand Prix and five
$10,000 Mini Prix. Each of the five weeks will also feature
$10,000 Show Jumping Hall Of Fame High Junior/Amateur-Owner
Jumper classes, part of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper
Classic Series. These classes determine which junior and amateur/owner
riders will qualify to ride at the 2004 National Horse Show.
Admission to the Vermont Summer Festival is
$5 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $2 for children. For further
