  • Kent Farrington Flies to Victory in $30,000 Grand Prix at Vermont Summer Festival – Kent Farrington of Greenwich, Connecticut, made his second trip to the winner’s circle during Week 4 of the Vermont Summer Festival running July 12 to August 13 in East Dorset, Vermont. Hot off his win in Friday’s $10,000 Tumi Outlet Store Mini Prix, Presented by Manchester Designer Outlets, riding Loriot, Farrington once again topped the field, this time aboard Titus, to win the $30,000 Manchester & the Mountains Grand Prix on Sunday, August 6, 2006.
  • Tromp Tops NAL/WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic at Vermont Summer Festival – The starting field was stacked with stiff competition, but 11-year-old Mattias Tromp of North Salem, New York, bested them all to claim the $1,500 NAL/WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic during Week 4 of the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show running July 12 to August 13 in East Dorset, Vermont.     – Christi McQuaker, 34, of Schomberg, Ontario, Canada, aboard her eight-year-old Belgian mare Ella won Thursday’s $3,000 Open Speed III, a Level 7 class in the North American League (NAL) Speed Series, at the Vermont Summer Festival in East Dorset. The action marks day two of the Manchester Classic Horse Show (July 19-23), the second of five weeks comprising the 2006 Vermont Summer Festival. July 20, 2006

    – The ‘Manchester Classic Horse Show’ opened on Wednesday, kicking off Week 2 (July 19-23) of the five-week Vermont Summer Festival in East Dorset, Vermont. Dick Carvin, based out of Meadow Grove Farm in Lakeview Terrace, California, rode Hazel for owner Priscilla Tampkin and her China Blue Farm to victory in the featured class in the Grand Prix ring, the $2,500 Open Jumper. This week’s course designer is Michel Vaillancourt of Canada, Individual Silver Medalist at the 1976 Olympic Games. July 19, 2006

  • Jimmy Torano and Ralvesther Claim Victory in $10,000 Polo Ralph Lauren Mini Prix at the Vermont Summer Festival – Jimmy Torano notched another win aboard Ralvesther at the 2006 Vermont Summer Festival, claiming victory in the $10,000 Polo Ralph Lauren Mini Prix on Friday, the first in the series of five Mini Prix events presented by Manchester Designer Outlets. The $10,000 Polo Ralph Lauren Mini Prix was the featured Friday class of Week 1, the ‘Manchester Summer Festival’ (July 12-16), of the five-week Vermont Summer Festival at Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, Vermont.
