East Dorset, Vermont — For the eighth consecutive year, Manchester Designer Outlets and the retail brands it represents will sponsor the weekly $10,000 Open Welcome Stake Series during the Vermont Summer Festival.  Running July 2 through August 11, 2013 at Harold Beebe Farm in Dorset, VT, the six-week equestrian competition is the richest sporting event based on purse in the state, with riders vying for more than $750,000 in prize money.

The $10,000 Open Welcome Stake, presented by Manchester Designer Outlets, will be held in the grand prix ring each Thursday throughout the six-week competition.  In addition to their share of the prize money, the winner of each event will also be rewarded with a gift certificate from the sponsoring brand, providing an extra incentive to win!

Representing the largest and broadest local sponsorship in the history of the Vermont Summer Festival, Manchester Designer Outlets has become an integral part of the competition.  Riders and spectators alike love to take advantage of the great deals offered across all of its retail brands, which include the Vermont Bird Place, Marimekko, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, Theory, Overland and Vineyard Vines.  The Manchester Designer Outlets provide the perfect place to spend some of that hard-earned prize money.

Manchester Designer Outlets offer designer label fashions for both men and women with savings of up to 70 percent.  In addition to offering some of the newest fashion trends, there are also unbeatable deals on luxury home furnishings, gifts and stylish accessories.  The combination of culture and style makes for an enjoyable and relaxing shopping experience for those who visit.

For over 20 years, the Vermont Summer Festival has attracted exhibitors and their families to the Manchester region in southern Vermont.  Known for its wide variety of area amenities including restaurants, outdoor activities, and lots and lots of shopping, Manchester-area businesses warmly welcome horse show competitors to the area each summer.

The first five Saturdays of the Vermont Summer Festival will feature a $30,000 Grand Prix.  The $50,000 Vermont Summer Celebration Grand Prix will be held during the sixth and final week on Saturday, August 10.  The hugely popular $5,000 3’3” Hunter Derby will also be held each Thursday for the first five weeks, with week six featuring the $15,000 Hunter Derby.

The Vermont Summer Festival is a proud member event of the Show Jumping Hall Of Fame, the Marshall & Sterling League, and the North American League (NAL).  Please e-mail us or visit our website for more information about the Vermont Summer Festival.
